Four ceiling centrepieces, each a different way of making a room look considered: a stone ring, a glass bubble array, a sculptural orb, and a tall washi-paper shade.

The four

Oslo is a natural alabaster ring on a stainless steel and leather frame — 23.6" or 31.5" across, 59.1" total height, built-in 20W LED, tri-colour, dimmable, Ra ≥ 90. Cove is a 39.4" (100 cm) ring of clear glass bubbles with a 22.8" to 34.6" adjustable hanging length and a 7.1" canopy. Lava Orb is a 39.3" sphere in copper, silver, smoke or gold, 35.4" tall. Akari heteroideus is handcrafted washi paper on iron, 15.0" across and 63.0" tall, dimmable with compatible bulbs.

Ceiling and electrical checks

Every one of these is hardwired. Two run at AC 110–240V and need a ceiling box rated for the weight — Cove at 100 cm across and Oslo in stone are the two to measure carefully before the install date.
